Bicycle Clubs
in Southwestern Ohio

T
wo of America's most active amateur bicycling clubs, the Cincinnati Cycle Club and the Dayton Cycling Club, are located here in southwestern Ohio.  Both the CCC and the DCC are affiliated with state and national bicycling organizations.  Both clubs feature regular rides throughout the year, although activity is naturally greatest during the warmer months, from May through October.

Most major organized rides offer a variety of routes, plus food / water / comfort stops, SAG service, and in some cases mid- or post-ride meals.  (Clearly, we Buckeyes are as serious about putting the calories back on as we are about burning them off!)  A few of the major events are races or other competition; most, however, are just casual rides, to be taken at your own pace.

In addition to major organized rides and races, there are daily and weekly rides led by club members.  Most of these regular rides are classed by speed and distance, and in some cases by terrain, so the rider can choose the desired level of insanity before committing to a ride.  Non-members are welcome as guests and participants at almost all club events.  Visit the local club web sites to find out about the CCC's weekly cluster rides and the DCC's daily rides.
